FLO, YFLO honours women leaders in Hyd

Hyderabad: The FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) and Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO) jointly hosted the Hyderabad Business Awards, recognizing excellence in various industry sectors, including the male-dominated manufacturing field. The grand ceremony, held at the recently renovated British Residency in Women's College, Koti, witnessed the presentation of 20 awards across 10 categories, alongside 4 special awards, totaling 24 accolades in a dazzling evening event on Sunday.
Among the awardees were Anjum Babukhan, Vishaka Reddy, Sharada Lingaraju, and others, celebrated for their remarkable contributions to their respective domains. Furthermore, luminaries such as Abhikasha Bisht, IPS, Additional DG of Police, A Devasena, IAS, Commissioner of School Education, yoga expert Sharmila Hirendranath, and design professional Dinaz were honored with prestigious awards for their outstanding achievements.
The awards spanned diverse categories encompassing Social Enterprise/Philanthropy, Sustainability, Education, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Wellness, Aesthetics and Beauty, Innovation and Technology, Art and Culture, and the Service Industry. Ritu Shah, Chairperson of FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), and Arthi Shah, Chairperson of Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO), emphasized that these awards represent an annual initiative by FLO and YFLO. Minister Dr. Dansari Anasuya (Seethakka) for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Govt of Telangana, lauded the initiative, noting the significance of recognizing and honoring women-led businesses making substantial economic and social contributions.
